Milo SMASHED his cake!

I had the joy of photographing this little one with his mom, dad, and adorable pup Rebel. We captured some great family shots, but most importantly, we captured sweet Milo’s first birthday with a cake smash session. These are always one of my favorite sessions to capture - they’re so much fun, and each and every cake smash session is completely different! Whether it’s different themes, different desserts to smash (it’s not always cake!), or even different reactions to the cake, it’s always a blast to capture and to see each little one’s individuality shine through.

Mom decided to capture Milo with the simple cake smash set that I provide for sessions consisting of a white sheet, wooden crates, letters to spell one, a number one, colorful tassels of your choice, and of course, the cake stand for the cake! Mom opted to keeping the set nice and simple and decided on a white tassel banner to compliment Milo’s adorable little outfit, and it coordinated beautifully with his cake!

And even better, his mom made his cake smash! Mom is the baker behind Sweets by Siobhan and after making dozens and dozens of cake smash cakes for others, she was finally able to make a smash cake for her sweet baby boy! This simple, yet beautiful, cake was the perfect size for little Milo!
